Cardinal Experience

 

On the following dates teams will have the opportunity to purchase and attend a St. Louis Cardinals game:

 

April 23-26: Battle at Bridgeton -- Cardinals vs. Cubs

May 14-May 17: Cardinal Classic and River City AA Challenge -- Cardinals vs. Brewers

May 22-May 25: Let’s Play America’s Game -- Cardinals vs. Royals

June 4-7: June Jam-Open and June Jam-AA -- Cardinals vs. Rockies

June 25-28: Wood War II -- Cardinals vs. Twins

July 16-19: End of Summer Sizzler -- Cardinals vs. Diamondbacks

 

For the Let’s Play America’s Game:

Teams that purchase tickets

TO A CARDINAL GAME

will be entered into a drawing

to win an opportunity for 2-4 people from their team

to watch batting practice at Busch Stadium on the field

 

 

 

Mizzou Experience

 

On the following dates teams will receive tickets to attend one of the University of Missouri Tiger baseball game:

 

April 2-5: Eye of the “Siberian” Tiger -- Missouri vs. Oklahoma

April 23-26: Hardball Classic -- Missouri vs. Texas Tech

May 7-10: Mother’s Day Classic -- Missouri vs. Baylor

May 14-May 17: Columbia Classic -- Missouri vs. Cal State Bakersfield

 

BC Baseball’s Gateway to St. Louis Promotion

 

BC Baseball, courtesy of the Sheraton Westport, Doubletree and Quality Inn Westport,

is offering travel teams a unique opportunity

A FREE ENTRY FEE*

into one of BC Baseball’s tournaments in the St. Louis area!

Stay at one of the host hotels, for $75 to $89 a night,

during a BC Baseball tournament and the hotel will pay the team’s entry fee.

Teams can choose from one of the tournaments listed below:

 

March 19-22: Gateway City Opener at Ozzie Smith Sports Complex

March 26-29: First Pitch Classic at Ellisville Athletic Association

April 2-5: Bring the Heat at Bridgeton Municipal Athletic Complex

April 16-19: Throwing Leather Open at Woodlands Sports Complex

April 23-26: Battle at Bridgeton at Bridgeton Municipal Athletic Complex

May 7-10: Mother’s Day Classic at Ellisville AA, Pond AA and Bridgeton Municipal Athletic Complex

May 22-25: Let’s Play America’s Game at Ozzie Smith Sport’s Complex and Bridgeton Municipal Athletic Complex

June 19-21: June Spectacular at Bridgeton Municipal Athletic Complex

 

* Requirements: Teams must stay at one of the host hotels for a minimum of 2 nights with at least 8 rooms per night.

 Also, gate fee must be paid in advance and hotel reservations must be confirmed to guarantee team entry. 

Room rates are $75 to $89, depending upon the hotel.  This opportunity is offered on a first-come basis dependent upon space availability.

 

 

 USSSA debuts Global Sports Baseball for 2009 Season

St. Louis Mother’s Day Classic To Be Global WS Qualifier In Missouri

Global Sports Events Also Are USSSA World Series Qualifiers

 

The Global Sports division of USSSA Baseball will offer World Series Qualifiers and World Series.

For the 2009 season, BC Baseball’s St. Louis area Mother’s Day Classic on May 7-10,

which will held at Ellisville AA, Pond AA and Bridgeton Municipal Athletic Complex,

will be one of only two or three Global Sports World Series Qualifiers in Missouri.

The Mother’s Day Classic will be a Round 2 qualifier and awarding 12 berths per age group

to the Global World Series of the team’s choice.

The Global Sports World Series qualifiers will also earn teams USSSA NIT points.

 

 

 

 

BC Baseball Tournaments are USSSA Sanctioned.

For the 2009 Spring/Summer Season,

BC Baseball will hold 32 USSSA State Qualifiers,

five of which also are USSSA World Series Qualifiers.

State Tournament Qualifiers allow teams to qualify for their home state’s State Tournamnt.

World Series Qualifiers allow teams to qualify for USSSA’s World Series play,

 although teams must play in their state tournament before going on to the World Series.

After a weather-challenged inaugural year,

BC Baseball is proud to announce the BC Baseball Grand Slam Series will return in 2009.

Points will be awarded to teams participating in each of five tournaments,

one more tournament than last year.

The top three teams in total points in each age group

will receive a paid entry from BC Baseball to their 2009 USSSA State Tournament!

 

The 2009 BC Baseball Grand Slam Series tournaments:

April 2-5, 2009: Bring The Heat at Bridgeton Municipal Athletic Complex

April 16-19, 2009: Throwin’ Leather Open at Woodlands Complex

May 7-10, 2009: Mother’s Day Classic at Ellisville AA and Pond AA

May 22-25, 2009: Let’s Play America’s Game at BMAC and Ozzie Smith

June 11-14, 2009: Baseball at the Oz at Ozzie Smith Sports Complex

 

 

For the 3rd Year in a row,

all BC Baseball Tournaments will be a part of the I-70 Series.

This series provides teams with an opportunity to earn

BC Baseball tournament entries and gate fees for the 2010 season.

The 2009 Metro Area Championships,

in its third year,

 will bring together the youth divisions (9u through 14u)

along with the High School division

to crown the area champions.

Last year this championship was held on two different weekends.

For 2009, the Metro Area Championships

will be held July 9-12 with Pond Athletic Association serving as the main site.

Games also will be played at other locations.

Each particular age group will be limited to no more than 24 teams.

 

 

BC Baseball Is the longest running tournament group in Central Missouri and the St. Louis area.

BC Baseball, unlike other groups, is a non-profit organization where tournament income

is put back to help with facilities and you the teams

 that play in our events.
