BC Baseball will add a Bonus Points Weekends to its I-70 Series for the 2009 season.  BC Baseball’s Metro Championships will be a Bonus Points Weekend for teams participating in the series.  Points values will be doubled for this weekend to teams participating.

For the 2009 spring, summer and fall tournaments, BC Baseball’s I-70 Series will consist of 39 different events in Columbia and St. Louis.  This series is an opportunity for teams which play BC Baseball tournaments to earn points towards awards in 2010 BC Baseball tournaments. The top team in each age group will receive a paid entry fee and gate fee;  the second place team will receive a paid entry fee; and the third place team will receive a paid gate fee.  (NOTE:  For the 14U division, points will accumulate through the 14u Metro Championship and awards will be given for the 2009 End of Summer Sizzler.)  For the 2009 season, teams will be required to play four BC Baseball tournaments to be eligible in the series. Standings for the I-70 Series will be updated on the BC Baseball website.
