The 2010 Starpath Baseball Clubs, which are part of the BC Baseball League and BC Baseball Academy, will continue to hold individual tryouts/evaluations for its spring/summer 2010 Starpath Baseball Club teams in order to complete rosters for several teams.  These tryouts will be held at BC Baseball's Indoor Facility at the Twin Oaks Complex, which is located at 351 North Purdy Lane in Columbia.  Players/parents interested becoming part of one of these teams should contact Bob Coons, BC Baseball Academy Director, to schedule a time for a tryout/evaluation.

Players are to provide their own baseball equipment for the tryouts (gloves, bats, helmets, etc.).  Players also should wear turf or basketball/tennis shoes at the indoor facility.  The tryouts will not be intensive, as players will be asked to throw (from several stations) and hit.

The Starpath Baseball Clubs are run by the BC Baseball Academy.  The Starpath teams will play in the BC Baseball League, in BC Baseball tournaments, the appropriate USSSA state tournament and world series.  Several teams have one or more openings but at least one opening remains at every age group.  The Starpath Baseball Clubs will have teams at the following age groups for the 2010 season:

14 & Under:  This team(s) is for players whose birthday falls between May 1, 1995 and April 30, 1996.

13 & Under:  This team(s) is for players whose birthday falls between May 1, 1996 and April 30, 1997.

12 & Under:  This team(s) is for players whose birthday falls between May 1, 1997 and April 30, 1998.

11 & Under:  This team(s) is for players whose birthday falls between May 1, 1998 and April 30, 1999.

10 & Under:  This team(s) is for players whose birthday falls between May 1, 1999 and April 30, 2000.

 9 & Under:   This team(s) is for players whose birthday falls between May 1, 2000 and April 30, 2001.

 8 & Under:  This team(s)  is for players whose birthday falls between May 1, 2001 and April 30, 2002.

NOTE: Players may play up to a higher age team, but are not allowed to play down.
