2012 8 & Under Competitive Coach Pitch League

BC Baseball is proud to announce its’ 2nd Annual Season of 8 & Under Coach Pitch League for the 2012 Spring Baseball Season

After a successful inaugural season, the BC Baseball 8 & Under Coach Pitch league will be returning for the 2012 Spring season! The league was introduced last year with the goal of providing an atmosphere of competition and instruction for younger player’s looking to fulfill their potential. In accordance to that philosophy, what follows is a brief overview of what to expect for the upcoming 2012 Spring season (additional information is available via the links at the bottom of the page).

Individual Players Looking For a Team…

• Player’s can expect to play competitive baseball with a focus on fundamentals that will lead to the introduction of advanced throwing, catching, and hitting for a smoother transition to kid pitch at the 9U level.

• The fee per player is $75. The fee covers the player’s uniform top and hat, umpire fees, batting helmets for each team, and baseballs for games.

• Players will be assigned to teams based on geographic location.

• The deadline for registering is MARCH 16, 2012
• Teams get 12 League Games and one league-sponsored tournament (4 game guarantee for the tournament).
• A BC Baseball umpire will officiate every game
  

Team Registration Information…

• Registration is open to already formed teams and individual players.

• Games will be five innings in length and will be played with a 1 hour, 15 minute time limit.
• A BC Baseball umpire will officiate every game
  

• This division will play a 12-game season and one league-sponsored tournament (4 game guarantee for the tournament).

• Game times will be 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM with teams mostly playing single games, although a doubleheader may be scheduled.

• This division will begin play May 21 and end by July 1.  This will include a pre-season clinic from BC Baseball Academy Staff.

• League Fee:  $800 per team ($700 if paid by Dec. 8).
