2015 Spring/Summer BC Baseball League

Registration Information

The BC Baseball League, in its 22nd year, is an organization of coach-picked teams playing USSSA Baseball with games scheduled in Columbia at the league’s Twin Oaks Sports Complex, in Columbia at the Boone County Fairgrounds Atkins Fields, in Jefferson City, in Taos and potentially other locations. Teams and players in this league come from all over Central Missouri.

The BC Baseball League is Central Missouri’s premier youth baseball league and the place where competitive players come to play. Being a part of the league gives coaches and their team’s insurance, access to the Twin Oaks and other fields for preseason practices, includes USSSA team registration, and the best competition in central Missouri.

The purpose of the BC Baseball League is to organize and promote youth baseball; to perpetuate the interest and the love of the game and to provide an opportunity for teams to compete in baseball at a higher level. The affiliation with USSSA Baseball provides an opportunity for league members to qualify for state and national championship play. The league members qualify as teams, not as end-of-the-season all-star squads, for this postseason play.

For the 2015 Spring/Summer Season, the league will offer divisions/games in the following age groups: 14 & Under, 13 & Under, 12 & Under, 11 & Under, 10 & Under, 9 & Under and 8 & Under Coach Pitch. Again, the 2015 season will have individual age group scheduling (with as few crossover games vs. the younger/older age group as possible, providing there are enough teams for each age group).

Providing there are enough teams, BC Baseball League will offer two (2) divisions in each age group for the 2015 Spring/Summer League — a Major/AAA/AA division and a A/AA division. The A/AA Division will be for newer or less experienced teams and will require approval by BC Baseball to be placed in this division. The Major/AAA/AA Division will be for more experienced AA teams. Teams in the A/AA division would not play Major or AAA teams in league play (although they could play AA teams). Also, the A/AA league games could be played on nights different than the Major/AAA/AA division.

League games for all age groups, except the 8U division, will begin in the first week of April (the week of April 1). The 8U Coach Pitch Division will start league games beginning the middle of April (the week of April 14).
